Kim worked with a local architect to transform a garage into a lofted studio apartment. The goals for the design finishes were to create a cozy apartment that felt larger than the actual size (400+ square feet) while immersing guests in a peaceful environment that provides a sense of respite from the hustle and  bustle of the city. The art deco flair of the kitchen tile and bedroom wallpaper pair well with the rustic cabin touches of the original lumber beams and reclaimed wood wall to create a modern, yet inviting space.
